Elizabeth A. Cartier, Ph.D., is an associate professor of Management at the Katz School of Business at Fort Lewis College. Professor Cartier’s teaching focuses on organizational behavior, human resources, and decision-making. Her research concentrates on tourism impacts, the critical aspects of power and control, and the relationship between discourse and power. Professor Cartier’s dissertation was focused on the ski industry in Colorado, and she is interested in exploring research related to water issues as connected to businesses that exist in water communities.
